Fordism, Post-Fordism and McDonaldisation.

What do sociologists mean when they use the term Fordism and post-Fordism? What do they men by the term McDonaldisation? What evidence existst that post-Fordism is superseding fordism and McDonaldisation in work and in culture generally in Australia? Is there evidence to the contrary?

The principals on which we base our working society of today have lead from previous practices. Fordism, post-Fordism and McDolalisation are three such practices. Besides being production methods, the ramifications of these styles of capitalistic manufacturing encompass the economy, class and everyday living. In Australian society the above three practices are fighting for dominance, with post-Fordism as the leading. However aspects of McDonaldisation and Fordism still contribute in the shaping of our society today.
