I will be completing this assignment on the Davrian mk8 and the suspension system resembles a double wishbone design. It is easiest to illustrate this in a diagram.

It is very important to remember that there is an equal and opposite force for each force in the diagram. The suspension arms have to be strong enough to minimise deformation and buckling, as it may bend or even break when the wheel hits a bump in the road. The arms are made of steel, as it is quite cheap and good resistance deformation. Here are the specifications of the suspension system:
