Fluoride

Fluoride is a very important mineral for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Fluoride is used to prevent tooth decay and to make bones stronger. It is also involved in the formation of the teeth and bones. Seeing as how Americans consume large amount of sugar, tooth decay is very common. Around 95% of the nation’s population has decayed, missing or filled teeth. Not only can tooth decay be painful and costly, it can also prevent proper nutrition because tooth decay can make it much harder to chew.
