Flowers in Hamlet

The flowers listed in this play are rosemary, fennel and
columbines, and rue.
Rosemary represents remembrance. Ophelia gave this flower
to Laertes. She loved her brother. She gave him this flower so to
remind him about her after she died.
Fennel and Columbines represents unfaithfulness. Ophelia
gave this flower to Queen Gertrude. The Queen was unfaithful to
King Hamlet, because she married his brother thirty days after he
died.
Rue represents repentance. Ophelia gave this ...
