Flex-time

In today’s society, people lead very busy and demanding lives. Everyday people often rush from their child’s day care to their full-time job, and back again as they attempt to balance a career and a functional family life. They not only feel the pressure of having to meet important company objectives and goals throughout the year, but they must also find time to run unplanned tasks such as children to the doctor, or special school functions. Employers are adopting new policies to accommodate their busy employees by giving extra vacation and personal time. Some employers have created, “flex time,” which allows a full-time employee to work from either 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. five days a week.
