First Love

I sat alone, once again, on the wooden bench at the almost deserted park, gazing at the stars shining dazzling in the sky. “Star light, star bright,” I sang melodiously to myself. The stars out there seem to give me a glimmer of hope, as if telling me that this world is still beautiful…
He was a friend of my sister. He had a killer smile, soulful eyes and a well-toned body. Not only was he good-looking, Randall had a great personality. He was considerate, caring and was simply a rare male species. I was attracted to him at first sight. Randall had come over to my house for discussion of schoolwork with my sister and I was immediately mesmerized by his charisma. I took the initiative to talk to him and we exchanged hand phone numbers without the knowledge of anyone, including my sister.
