“Fire and Ice”

In the world and human life, fire and ice are known to be the exact opposites. Since being a baby or young child, we have been taught about what things are hot and what things are cold. It is relevant to realize these things before touching them, for one may become seriously injured. Frost uses fire and ice as symbols. Some things may be as hot as fire or as cold as ice. Some people may favor “fire”, such as the heat in summer days or the passion in love. Others may prefer the cold winter days, enjoy playing in the snow, or feel like they want to be left alone. Fire is a very strong symbol that may represent love, passion, desire, or full blown torture and pain. Ice is a symbol that represents the absence of passion, disinterest, or even hatred.
