Finding Flaws with Marqui

Don Marquis bases his essay on the assumption that abortion is wrong, except in cases such as, a rape, if it would save a women’s life, or in the case of an anencephalic fetus. His argument is that, abortions are wrong; likewise, killing would be wrong, too. The fetus would have no future as well as a victim who had been murdered or killed. His argument is based on the premise that a fetus is in the same category as any human life. In addition to humans having the right to life, likewise the “fetus”, should have the same privilege. Marquis forms his argument using valid points but lacks sufficient significance in such arguments as to make an entirely valid point. I agree that abortion is wrong, however, the arguments that Marquis gives to support this neglect several important points.
