Fidel Castro: A Real Enemy of His People.

Fidel Castro was born in Cuba on August 13,1926. In 1945 Castro attended the University of Havana's Law School, where he earned a law degree in 1950. Castro intended to campaign for a parliamentary seat in the elections of 1952. At this time General Batista overthrew the government of then President Carlos Prio and canceled the elections. Castro went to court and charged Batista with violating the constitution. The court rejected Castro's petition. Feeling desperate Castro organized an armed attack on Batista. This attack was a complete failure. Half the attackers were killed and Castro and his brother Raul were taken prisoners.

After several years of unsuccessful attempts to overthrow the government Castro moved to Mexico and organized Cuban exiles into a fighting force called the Revolutionary Movement.
