Fear and Loathing

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas came into form originally as a novel written by

Hunter S. Thompson. The film would come along about 30 years later. Many have stated

that this book is one of many that would be “unfilmable”.

Now you shouldn’t have to read a book in order to enjoy the movie based on it.

Usually and especially nowadays, people do a lot less reading and more often than not

don’t even know the movie they are watching is based on a book. If you can however do

both sometimes it can help to decipher and understand what you’re supposed to be

watching for. This may be the case for some with Fear and Loathing due to the fact that

you may spend the entire movie searching for the wrong elements.

Hunter S. Thompson himself picked Johnny Depp to play him in the movie, and

this brings the movie much closer to the book. I don’t believe anyo...
