Favourate Play person in "an inspector calls"

My most favourite character in the play is the Inspector.
The key words I would use for the Inspectorare " mysterious, imposing, sombre, determined, Strange and calm". The word 'inspector´ suggests someone who looks closely at things, and this is his role in the events of the play. The name 'Goole´ sounds Ghostly- someone with a morbid interest in death, a spirit which is said to take fresh life from corpses, and it is certainly arguable that the Inspector´s existence is a result of the girls death.
Described as creating 'an impression of massiveness, solidity and purposefulness´, the Inspector grows as the stories of each character are revealed. He remains solid and unbroken as each of them breaks down, and nothing the others can do or say distracts him from his purpose
He arrives at the Birling´s home just after Mr Birling has been setting out his view of life: that every man must only look out for himself. The Inspector´s role is to show that this is not the case. Througho...
