Hip hop fashion started in the Bronx when the hip hop music era began. The influence that musicians had on hip hop fashion played a large role in what was to become of hip hop fashion. A hip hop artist mixed music, hard lives, and cultural individuality to create a style of clothes. They began with some clothing styles in the 70’s, more of the plain but creative in the 80’s , the mixing of both in the 90’s, and the remakes of the 2000’s.
