Faith: System of Belief or Conditioned Action?
In every religion there is a system of belief or faith. Faith is described as a “belief in, devotion to, or trust in somebody or something, especially without logical proof”(Microsoft). I don’t believe religion could survive without faith. To practice any religion you must have some sort of faith. I believe faith has an ironic nature to it because faith is a feeling, you can’t see it or touch it, so you need to have faith in faith.
In Christian religion you must believe that God is all powerful, all knowing, all seeing, and the one true God. There is no need to question his existence or presence, if you do, you don’t have faith. Truthfully, my beliefs don’t label me as a Christian. I question his power, his reasons, his actions, and why we suffer. I belive I may have too many questions to have faith in Christianity. There ar...
