Exploring Space

I read an outline on “Exploring Space is our Destiny.” It used an example of a Chinese admiral named Zheng that had set sail in the early 1900’s, before Vasco de Gama sailed around Cape Horn. Zheng had 62 massive ships, and over a period of 28 years Zheng made seven voyages to the western seas going to Asia, India etc. When Zheng had come back to China he showed the Chinese people his discoveries, but little did Zheng know that the items he had brought back had already been discovered. The Chinese people were very upset, so they destroyed his ships and killed him.
