Mass, according to Roman Catholics, is the most important service. They believe this because it is a reminder to them that Jesus sacrificed himself and suffered for the benefit of mankind. Mass is also one of the seven sacraments, which are considered by Catholics to be ways of receiving a special blessing from God.
