The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences is a diverse and interesting faculty that focuses mainly in these three areas: Land, Food, and Community. According to the ¡§Faculty of Agricultural Sciences Undergraduate Student Handbook¡¨, the core concept of the faculty is: ¡§to maintain healthy landscapes, foods, and communities¡¨(Quayle, 2003). As a result, there are many research centres in the faculty contributing and studying in these areas. UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research is one of the relevant research centres.
