Euthenasia

Euthanasia has been debated about for years and years, not only here in the U.S. but in other countries as well. I believe that euthanasia should be legalized here in the United States not only because it should be a persons right to decide on their own death if there is no cure for their disease or pain and are suffering to a great extent, but because it is already being practiced even though it is not legal. If living persons become so ill that they cannot tolerate the pain, they have a "right to die" to an escape from torment. As we contemplate legalizing euthanasia many issues should be taken into consideration.
First the distinction between euthanasia and assisted suicide should be made. Euthanasia or “mercy killing” is when a third party performs the last act that intentionally causes a patients death. Assisted suicide is when the person who has died has performed the last act themselves. It would be considered euthanasia if a doctor has inserted an intravenous need...
