However the concept of euthanasia is complex and has profound consequences for all. Much of the debate concerning euthanasia is about whether there is a morally significant distinction between active and passive euthanasia, or between killing and letting die. The issue is that Euthanasia is morally wrong under all circumstances. This means that terminating a life whether it voluntary or involuntary, using passive or active euthanasia violates human morals and values as well as Christian beliefs and principles. The word Euthanasia originated from the Greek language: eu meaning "good" and thanatos meaning "death". The general meaning given to the word Euthanasia is “the intentional termination of life by another at the explicit request of the person who dies."
