Ethically Correct Behavior in Todays Society

This weeks reading were on what behavior is ethically correct in society today, it focused on the need to work and what makes an ethical leader. I thought the work essays were particularly thought provoking and made me really take a look at my current situation. I even had thought of giving it all up and doing missionary work, because I believe you could not have a more rewarding occupation.

I believe “The Story of Gyges” pretty much sums up good vs. bad as far as man is concerned. It tells a story of a magical ring that allows invisibility and how man would be teased into using this power for unjust causes. I believe this story is correct in its finding that if offered the chance of not being caught most man would be unable to resist. As I was reading this story my mind started playing out scenarios of uses with the invisibility ring.
