Essay on "Hills Like WHite Elephants"

In the magnificent short story “Hills Like White Elephants”, written by one of the most influential author of the twentieth century, Ernest Hemingway, readers come across a unique technique or method to unfold the main conflict. This method, symbolism, appears in various places throughout the entire story to reveal the existing psychological conflict between the two main characters and to demonstrate that it is difficult to resolve a serious problem in a couple when both have different solutions in mind.
