Introduction
I am a Year 3 student of the Department of Shipping & Transport Logistics. Last semester, I participated in an exchange programme which was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Australian Maritime College. I gained a lot during my study in Australia and now I am going to share my experience in this passage.

Four Months Abroad for a Lifetime Experience
February 2002 was the first time I had visited Tasmania in Australia. I stayed in Australian Maritime College for one semester (from Feb to June). Those four months were filled with many amazing experiences -- academically, socially and personally.

My four months in Australia proved to be fruitful in every aspect. Not only did I learn much in the classroom. The experience of living in Tasmania also taught me much about this special state and its culture.
