Erin Brockovich, the movie

Erin Brockovich, an American movie based on a true story, relates how a twice-divorced mother of three young children discovers an injustice and gradually builds up the case in a court. In fact, after finding medical reports in real estate dispute files, she discovers that PG&E, a huge firm, contaminates water in a local community causing diseases amid its residents. Troughout the movie, PG&E did things that were not socially responsible and ethical, so did the attorneys, but Erin Brockovich behaved in another particular way.
As a matter of fact, PG&E had a responsibility to society as a whole. Their business is actually seen as an entity, and they must feel a social responsibility. It means that managers must actively promote social justice, preserve the environment, and support social and cultural activities.
