Ephedrine

Ephedrine (ma huang) mainly grows in Mongolia and in areas around China. It has been used in China for hundreds of years. Traditionally, ephedrine has been used as a remedy for respiratory diseases and illnesses ranging from asthma and bronchospasms of the respiratory tract to simple nasal congestion.
