3.1 INTRODUCTION

In this chapter the researcher would be concentrating on the three broader issues i.e. Provision for physically challenged guests in India; Provision for environmental concerns in India; Provision for contemporary legal concerns in India. Environmental and legal concerns i.e. a framework or a boundary wherein the goals, which are to be achieved, should not harm the environment and must follow the legalities pertaining to it.

The first being growing need of an accommodation product designed for physically challenged guests and providing them with extra facilities and making their stay comfortable. What measures the hoteliers are taking to satisfy this market segment.
