English 9: Composition Exam

In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, Atticus the main character is like Romeo, in Romeo and Juliet, in the way that they are both true heroes in the end. In the book Atticus describes a true hero, even though he would never admit he is really describing himself. Romeo thoroughly fits this description as well, for in the beginning of his relationship with Juliet he knew they were of two different backgrounds never meant to cross yet he still loved her till the end. He never gave up not even in the end, for they were together even when they took their last breaths, which in a way is how Romeo did indeed win.
When Romeo and Juliet first met they had no idea of what lay ahead for their future. Yet when they found out that Romeo was a Montague and Juliet a Capulet, their love for each other only grew stronger. Romeo never doubted their relationship, finding any way he could to make it last. He was determined to be with Juliet until the end, which is just what happened. ...
