Emily Dickinson was born in Amherst, Massachusetts on December 10, 1830. Emily was lively, well behaved, and obedient child. She took part in the house hold at a very young age, she learned to cook and sew. When she got older she was sent to a very strict school where her and her friends lived and expressed their high spirits.
