As I know you have been so preoccupied with the war on terrorism, so I’ll try to explain and inform what happened in Cancun, Mexico with WTO Meetings.
I’ll try to give you a summary about this week in Cancun, day by day.
Well the first day ( 9/10)
The conference started with facilitators named and the cotton proposal.
Well the meetings had various and very important subjects :
· Agriculture: George Yeo Yong-Bong from Singapore.
· Non agriculture market access: Henry Tang Ying-yen from Hong Kong.
· Development issues: Mukhisa Kituyi from Kenya.
· “Singapore” issues: Pierre Pettigrew from Canada.
· Other issues: Clement Rohee.
All this after mentioned were the facilitators and they try to help with negotiations on various subjects.
