Echo 421

Chapter 1, The Drop


I am the Orb. I am about 2 ft. in diameter. I look a lot like a ball. I am being sent to the planet Echo 421. I am the ultimate war machine. I am to make peace with the native people. The natives are all hedgehogs about 3 inches long, 1 inch in wide. They used to be dominating the planet until the Flood came. The Flood is a species of military –like people that are trying to take over the planet. The Flood are about the size of an action figure, so it is almost impossible for the hedgehogs or the “Paq” to kill them. I, the Orb, can kill the Flood, but it will take me a while. When this drop ship I am on drops me, I am supposed to meet up with two “Paq” named Max & Joe. Here I go.
