Eatin’ Mudbugs

Cajuns know to cook good crawfish, but most of us Texans do not want to drive to Louisiana just to eat the little critters. An alternative of course is to dine in a restaurant that sells boiled crawfish and pay fifteen dollars for a pound. The best solution I have found is cooking my own. It is, however, just as easy to cook three pounds, as it is to cook one hundred pounds so why not go ahead and make a party of it. This process is easy to do once you know the proper material to buy and how to cook crawfish.
The first thing you have to do is gather your materials. This should be easy enough, after all cooking crawfish does not take much preparation and does not require expensive materials. You will need to pick up small potatoes, corn on the cob, a Styrofoam ice-chest, paper towels, trash bags, toothpicks, and Tony Chachere’s seasoning.
