Earthquake Storms

Earthquakes are considered some of the most devastating natural disasters on the planet. Earthquakes
are deadly because of their unpredictable nature. We never know when the next earthquake is going to
strike. Unlike, Volcanos, where we can see everything before it actually erupts, possible earthquake
symtoms are underground, and hidden. It is impossible to say accurately when a quake will strike but a new theory
could help save lives by preparing cities in advance for a possible earthquake.

Earth is made up of large tectonic plates, these plates are always moving, but at a slow rate.
When two plates push up against each other friction is created, and a great amount of energy is present.
That is why earthquakes occur most frequently on fault lines, that is where two plates meet. However these
fault lines run for thousands of miles, predicting exactly where an earthquake will occur is nearly impossible.
