Dylan

One of my favorite musicians of all time is Bob Dylan. Throughout his 40-plus year career, Dylan has undergone a myriad of change. From young Robert Zimmerman in Hibbing, Minnesota to poet laureate of Rock n’ Roll, Dylan has never stopped evolving. Some of the most noticeable changes have came in the style of music, lyrical content, and commitment to touring.
Beginning with his first album in 1962, titled simply Bob Dylan, Dylan has been a performer of ever-changing styles. From the folk of The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan to the country twang of Nashville Skyline to the swamp blues of Time Out of Mind, Dylan has never been content to fit into the mold. In the earliest years of his career, he was described as ‘the man who forced folk into bed with rock.’ Early songs, such as “The times they are a-changin’” and “Masters of War”, were nothing more than folk songs presented to an unsuspecting market place.
