During The Revolutionsry Era

During the Revolutionary Era, freedom was a big topic. Everybody was looking for
freedom, but the only people who got their freedom was the white man. In the “Petition to
the Massachusetts General Assembly” by Prince Hall and “Letter to John Adams” Abigail
Adams two minority class people are writing asking the white man not deprive them of
their freedom though ignored they were brave enough to take a risk.

Freedom should be given to everybody regarless of race,sex, and nationalaty etc.. but not everyone thought that way especially during the Revolutionary Era when the U.S. was suppesed to be the land of the free. Sure it was the land of the free, except for blacks and white women. In the "Letter to Jhon Adams" Abigail Adams a white women speaks out that they are not getting thier freedom by saying " you insist upon retaining an obsolute power over wives(p. 187)".
