Driving With Sister

As I read, “Yield” by Ronald Gross, I cannot help but think about my younger sister and the way I feel about her turning sixteen years old and being able to drive legally. As Gross uses the driving terms such as yield, stop, and no parking, I can see her learning how to drive and reading the signs.
The poem starts out it saying “Yield. No Parking.” When I hear this I think about how my little sister has trouble keeping her foot light on the gas pedal and how she needs to develop her parking skills. When she is driving she has a tendency to keep the gas pedal down a little too much.
