Don't Go Breaking My Heart

She walked in from out of the rain on that bleak and gloomy day in December. The holidays were always a terrible time for her, and this one would be no different from the last three. She remember when these times were full of joy and the happy sites and sounds which Christmas would bring, yet this Christmas seemed so much more...more than just depressing, it seemed more like she was at a crossroads of sorts. Later in the evening when she was home watching MTV and listening to some of her favorite Britney Spears CD's, her phone suddenly rang out loud causing her to almost jump out of her thin and anorexic like skin. She was hoping it would be him calling after all these years, but it wasn't. Instead, it was the drug store clerk who called to let her know that her mom's prescription had come in and that they could come in and pick it up anytime today if they wanted to. So anyway, she got up and went to the store and picked up the medication and paid for it with her own money that she had...
