Does our perception of reality depend upon our beliefs?

It may be said that a persons individual perception of reality depends on their beliefs, however it may also be said that ones beliefs determines the reality that person perceives as being the truth.
It is a known fact that is imposed from a very young age, that there is not a single person in the world that is identical to another, albeit physically, emotionally or genetically. If this is infact the truth, then it would be feasible to say that no two people share the exact same perception of reality because each individuals perception of reality is determined by a their thought patterns, their mental capacity and the world in which they are influenced by. This statement may be hard to justify, "But what if two people share the same beliefs, then wouldn't their perception be the same or if not, similar?" The answer to this is no, because although they may share the same or similar beliefs whether it be in religion, ethics etc, a persons perception of reality in a remote area in K...
