Introduction
In writing this paper, I will attempt to: 1) accurately state the argument against the existence of God—the problem of evil and suffering; 2) raise two famous objections for the problem of evil, which are free will defense and the virtue defense; 3) being skeptical and not buying into these defenses, I will attack them by proving why God should not have picked free will over determinism, and by proving why the virtue defense is repugnant; 4) at the end, support the problem of evil by bringing in natural evil and pointless evil.

Disproving God By Problem of Evil

Perhaps one of the greatest opposing arguments for the existence of God is the problem of evil. Given the most traditional definition of God as omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), and wholly good, the atheist argues that God cannot and must not exist because evil exists in the amount of suffering all over the world.
