Do you agree that today’s children are more lonely and isolated? Why?

How a child is brought up determines his character and future well-being. Therefore, it is important that the child does not lack of basic necessities during childhood, or being deprived of any attention. Hence, loneliness should not be with him most of the time. I disagree that today’s children are more lonely and isolated. Today’s technological advances have resulted in a decrease in children leading solitary lives. In fact, modern machineries such as the computer and electronic games have managed to entertain children during their free time. Despite having both parents working, Children are being looked after by maids or nannies in order to keep them occupied. With the increasing demand for children to be all rounded, most schools expect their students, even in lower primary, to attend school on Saturdays so that they can engage in curriculum activities.
