Do Boys really enjoy to read?

It is clearly seen that Robert Lipsyte, the writer of “Listening for the Footsteps: Books and Boys”, feels that boys are not drawn to reading books. This is a very realistic issue, which can be argued either way. The reason for it being an arguable topic is that all people have different experiences, encounters, and lifestyles. But overall, the majority of society would agree with Robert Lipsyte and say that boys do not read; they would rather be jocks.
