Disadvantages/Advantages Marriage vs. Single

Wedding bells are ringing. Last minute jitters are being experienced. Excited thoughts, yet fearful thoughts are running through the minds of those soon to be married. Being married has its advantages and disadvantages. Being single has less advantages and more disadvantages. Being married has more advantages and less disadvantages.
One of the disadvantages of being single is that money can be tight. There may be only one income coming in. A couple may have two sources of income. It costs just as much to heat a house for one person as it does a couple or a family of four. Tax, pay, and benefits do not favor single people. Another disadvantage is that time for household jobs is limited. If two jobs need to be done, a married couple might share the work by doing them together or splitting them between each other.
