Why are we here? Why is there good and evil? Where do we go when we die? Some time or another people ask themselves these questions. But they will soon find out that the person who asks the questions will have to choose who has the right answers. It might be difficult to find the correct answer out there because there are so many religions to choose from, each having its own answer to the questions of life. All religions have three main points, which are a belief in a higher power, sacred texts, and the need to live one's life in accordance to their religion.
A belief in a higher power is the focus of a religion. Without the higher power there would be no religion, no sacred texts, everything would be meaningless.
