Differenes between Islamic and Christian beliefs

Religion has always been a fascination to me. Especially religions, which are the opposite from mine. Islam and Christianity are two, which intrigue a person like me. This essay will try and give a better understanding of the differences between these two religions. The differences in their beliefs and practices will be looked at in this essay. Islam, a religion consisted of mostly Muslims, puts God before everything else.
The word Islam means "surrender or submission to the will of God"(Esposito 69). The Muslims follow the Islamic law. Muslims believe that law is religious and that is why they feel the need to obey these laws. God is very important in the Islamic religion. God is everything to them. The Muslims pray to Allah five times a day. Unlike Christians Islamic people are able to have more than one wife without it being frowned upon.
