Difference between an Acoustic and Electric Guitar

Introduction:

I. Do any of you play or have ever played the guitar? If not I am sure all of you have at least heard an acoustic or electric guitar before. Have you ever wondered what it is that makes each guitar sound so different? There is a wide assortment of interesting differences between the acoustic and electric guitar and my plan is to inform you all on them.
