Basic Training. A must for the 101st Airborne says Lt Sobel, but I wonder to myself what in God’s name is that moron think he’s doing with ‘Easy Company’?

It’s been 9 months since I joined and it has been nothing but order after order, with nothing but criticism from Sobel. Pvt. Malarchy lost his weekend pass because of creases in his pants and several others lost theirs for other ‘infractions’ – rusty bayonets, half filled canisters, dusty boots. We train hard, I know we train more than any other companies in the platoon.
