In order to study an individual’s personality, one has to be able to understand the thoughts that go through that certain person’s mind. Through reading the horror novel Dracula, by Bram Stoker, the reader is given the opportunity to obtain a view into different individual’s lives. In his book Stoker tells about five characters that go on a mission to kill the evil creature Dracula, who has been around for many centuries and has been destroying the lives of humans for his own benefits. Three of the major characters, whose journals are revealed, are Mina, Jonathan Harker, and Doctor Seward. These journals do not only show the character’s personality, but also tell the events that occur throughout the book concerning Dracula.
