Describe the Ways the Three Sons in Hamlet Deal with Their Fathers’ Deaths
In William Shakespeare’s Hamlet Fortinbras, Laertes and Hamlet all have distinct ways of dealing with their fathers’ deaths. Although Hamlet was reclusive at first, he like Fortinbras and Laertes eventually made his need for revenge known to others. All three of the sons also were willing to acquire revenge through the usage of violence as well.
Although the man who killed Fortinbras’ father is dead, Fortinbras took it on himself to carry his father’s hatred of King Hamlet’s empire. Fortinbras’ main goal was to reclaim the land lost during his father’s reign.
