Definition of a Perfectionist

Perfection is unattainable. A perfectionist is a person who will not accept or be content with anything less than the higher degree of excellence. There are three characteristics that define a perfectionist. Shehe will analyze every aspect of herhis life, come to the conclusion that nothing is good enough, and therefore is frequently disappointed.
Perfectionists look at aspects of their lives and analyze them. They evaluate their family, friends, school performance, personality, and physical appearance and find both pros and cons. They analyze their family members’ and friends’ personalities. Other peoples’ emotions, fears, dreams, and lifestyles are under a perfectionist’s scrutiny.
