Death Penalty

Thesis: Will the death penalty ever be enforced in the constitution? Right now we do not know the answer to that. I however, believe that the constitution should “condemn” the death penalty because it is a cruel and unusual punishment, it goes against the rules God has set out, and the innocent sometimes get accused.
In Edward L. Koch’s article “Death and Justic” Koch supports the death penalty. He gives quotes from two former murderers concerning the death penalty. Mr. Robert Lee Willie says “Killing is wrong…it makes no difference whether it’s citizens, countries, or governments. Killing is wrong.” Another admitted killer, Joseph Carl Shaw said, “Killing is wrong when I did it. Killing is wrong when you do it.
