The Easy Way Out

In today’s society, everyone looks for easier ways out of their problems. So when it comes to someone suffering and about to die, why not have an easy way out for them? This is why I think we should legalize physician-assisted suicide in the states. After all, in the states, life is all about freedom, having choices and making your own decisions.
Would you rather be alone in a hospital bed at the end of your life knowing you could die at any time and you couldn’t do anything about it, or have the chance to die with your loved ones? Having the choice of physician-assisted suicide would allow people with terminally ill diseases to die with all their loved ones with them in the room. This was the case for a woman by the name of Colleen Rice, who was suffering from cancer in the lungs.
