The movie Dead Man Walking was a good movie about a death row inmate played by Sean Penn who was a rapist and a murderer. He was set to be executed soon and he wanted a chance to be off death row. He calls upon the a nun played by Susan Surandon who’s name is Helen Prejean. He writes her a letter to ask if she can help him in the process of getting an appeal hearing for his trial. Through the movie the characters get to know each other better and soon Helen gains sympathy for Mathew and really hopes that he gets his appeal over turned.
