A Life Changing Experience

My life changing experience was watching the life being drained out of a once energetic man. What I mean is, for the first time in my life I had the dissatisfaction of watching a man slowly die. This man was my mother’s brother, my uncle Mike.

He was finally living well, not even a year after he had an aneurysm in his brain. My mom and I were driving into town on a cold, rainy February morning.
